About me

Giulia Bianchi was born in Genova, Italy.

She graduated in June 2011 from the social-documentary program at the International Center of Photography in New York.

She’s a documentary photographer currently working on a long term project about her homeland called Liguria and in particular its people’s struggle with themselves and with nature.

She’s experimenting with new narrative forms in photography and getting upset with re-enforcing of stereotypes in photojournalism.

She’s available for worldwide assignments as freelancer photographer.
